FAQ
What should I expect at a free consultation?
Think of your free consultation as a discovery visit to see if PT is right for you. Expect a discussion based on the paperwork you’ll complete prior to your consult, an analysis of any pictures/videos you’ve provided, a global movement assessment, detailed range of motion assessment laying on a treatment table, and a summative discussion of findings and recommendations moving forward.
What if I already know I want physical therapy?
If you’re ready to jump right into physical therapy, select “One hour physical therapy appointment” on the booking page! You can expect a thorough evaluation and some treatment at your first appointment.

Our Wheat Ridge location features a parking lot directly in front of Ethos Colorado Training Center.
Do you accept my insurance?
Ascend is an out-of-network clinic. This means that we do not accept any insurance, but in many cases, clients do have out-of-network benefits through their insurance plan. After a session, or the completion of your plan of care, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. If you have out of network benefits, its likely you will be reimbursed 50-80% the cost of treatment. Learn more on the philosophy page.
What is a superbill?
Think of a superbill like a receipt. A superbill is a document that details important components of your treatment. After a session is complete, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. Many patients who have out of network benefits do receive reimbursement from their insurance company after a superbill is submitted.
